AcuraLink Question
Hi there, I went to Owner Link site, and click on My Profile, and saw this
"Did you know that you can manage messages you receive in your vehicle? Call Client Services to learn more and activate this feature on your vehicle! "
Isn't this feature already activated when purchasing the car, or do I need to call them up and activate it?
Thanks.

A question for those of you who had the Acura Link stuff enabled when the car was delivered;
When you logged into this page:
https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp
.....were you able to access the options in the Acura Link section of the page?

Just got off the phone with ACS, and the rep told me that the dealer where you purchased the car from usually activates AcuraLink for you. But she told me mine was not activated and that's why I was not receiving any messages. So she went ahead and activated it for me, but takes about a week.

That's exactly what I got when I logged in. No one from ACS mentioned to me that the dealer was supposed to do it for me.

*Update*
I just logged in again to Owner Link, and under AcuraLink Preferences, the menu changed to:
Messages to Your Onboard Device
Messages Sent to Your 2005 Acura 4DRRL
Feature Guide
Diagnostic Info
Quick Tips
Campaigns / Recalls
Maintenance Minders
Send Appointment Reminders to my vehicle 1 Day in advance
Just a heads-up to you guys, as I think this is supposed to be the menu in Owner Link after activating AcuraLink. So if your Owner Link doesn't show the menu like I have above, I guess it's better to call them up.
