Question Acura Link Messages question

Hi Guys.
Since day 1 I've not seen any Acura Link Messages coming in.
Lately Apr 10th received notification from Acura, so went to a dealer to install update which was suppose to "fix" Acura Link Messages feature. Still no messages. Dealer mentioned it could take up to 3 weeks to buffer them up... (do not know why)!!!
Anyway, now my question is, does it requred for phone to be capable of dialing the acura server in order to receive Acura Link Messages?
Maybe some of you would know. Seems like my dealer doesn't have strong answer to this question, claiming that internal scan passes and external problems, installed update were suppose to fix...
The reason is all this time until late April I've been running Motorola Razr from Cingular/At&t which was of course capable of dialing Acura server. Late April (before 3 weeks period occured) I've upgraded to Iphone - which has no "modem" functionality thus no dialing... Now it is Aug, and I still didn't get any messages even with the latest Acura update and apparently all other phones in my household not capable of dialing Acura server either...
If it's related I'd probably try to obtain Razr or other phone capable of dialing for a week or so, before coming with complain to a dealer.

I might be mistaken, but i think you have to activate the acuralink from myacura.com, otherwise you won't get anything from them. Go to the website and set up an account if you don't already have one. Then choose my profile at the top right, then go to acuralink preferences. You should see boxes to check off for the types of notifications you want.

If you have any problems, just call customer service, they were very helpful for me, though others on the board have been less than satisfied with them.

BTW, you can also store your nav and radio codes on the site.

You are an absolutely correct. My bad. It is fully activated on Acura Website.
Has been refreshed twice before an update (recommendation from the dealer) and once after update been installed.
