On my 2007 Acura RL My AFL light is on and it says it is not working. my headlights don't turn when I turn. My right light flickers when I hit bumps. Dealership says I need a whole left front light assembly. They said my left light is drawing power from my left light causing my right to short. Does anyone know about this?

dealer is full of shit.. You need to replace your bulb or ballast. AFS is most likely a $5 repair if you DIY. at worst it could be your AFS module in your left light and i have extra laying around i could sell you for very cheap

 

i have a 2008 acura rl base.. with no afs... had no button under vsa in fact. but
they do adjust height on their own. how can i convert my headlights to as

 

I have 2005 RL, dealer said modulator for AFS & VSA were same. AFS light comes on every time I drive, VSA sometimes. Dealer said AFS modulate problem sent signa and made VSA light come on. They said replacing was $595 for part and $795 installed? Any thoughts?
