Accessory Power Outlet fuse

I have a mini air compressor that runs off 12v and hooks up to a cigarrette lighter. Here's the problem. After I opened the package I found out the 12v socket needs to be rated at 15amps (this was not specified on the web site where I bought it). It also states "do not use a cigarrette lighter that is rated for 8 amps or less".

The RL accessory power outlet is rated for 10 amps. Does anyone know what the fuse for the outlet is rated at?

Should I not even try to use this compressor with the RL outlet?

Moot point now. I ended up sending the compressor back. Worst case, it would have blown the fuse, but why take a chance.
