My dvd rom went out in my 2005 rl. Will a 2006 dvd rom work in it? The serial number is not exactly the same, but I assume its because the 2006 had a couple new options...{camera}

Safest bet would be 2005 so it will come with the firmware update disc if you need it. Pretty sure a 2006 would anyways though.

i found a 2005 navigation update setup disc. should i still buy the 2005 update or the 2006? also i cleared all the telematics data in the hidden menu option. does that erase all recall updates trhat might have been performed on it in the past? {if any}
