Hello All, I'm new to the RL and this board. Great car that I can't wait to drive in the snowy winters of the northeast! I have a unique problem that maybe someone has run into. I have the 2 keyless remotes, #1 and #2. #1 works perfect. #2 will only unlock and lock the doors. I have "linked" the remote #2 for position memory and that seems to work (at least to the previous owners settings, ha!). But, the car won't start with #2. I can start it manually by inserting the #2 mechanical key into the ignition switch, though, fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the manual does not go into any detail on how to solve this problem. Great Board. I'll post some pics of my ride when I figure out how to do it. Cheers!

 

I had that same problem when I bought my 05 RL a few years ago. The dealership had to reprogram the remote for me. It has worked fine ever since. Good luck.

 

Thanks! Any idea what that should cost? I see on here that it ranges quite a bit.
