I just purchased 2005 RL with 29k, the car cannot be covered by Acura's extended warranty per Acura dealer(s), due to its age, the car is CarFax perfect. I have read on this site that a warranty can be had for Acura's with less that 50k through an Acura plan, please help with information. Thanks.

 

The car must be less than 50K miles and less than 48 months old from the first date of service, so if the car was purchased prior to Sept 7 2006, you are OK, but since it is a 2005, that is unlikely.

 

I picked up a 2005 last year and got the extended warranty from acura. My car is covered until December 2012.
