Wipers

Has anyone replaced their wipers with the new blade style (Michelin or Trico Neoform)? Do the wipers fit under the cowl like the OEM, any better than OEM in snow etc?

I'd be interested to know the answer to this too. Has anyone tried non-Acura blades?

I think a few people here have used the PIAA Super Silicon inserts. If I recall correctly they fit right in and work fairly well. As for other types of blades, I'm not so sure.

I'm talking about the spring steel blade assembly, not just the insert

the question should be, what does Acura use? Lexus uses a pretty good silicon that is better than most aftermarket blades. Curious if Acura does the same.

I bought new blades that the web site said would fit but they don't. I ended up removing the new inserts and installing them into the old blades. Beware that numerous sites state that their wipers will fit the RL but their only criteria is length, they do not understand or consider the actual mounting or the arm. Unless anybody has a better solution, I'm just going to buy my next replacements from the Acura dealer.
