Wipers

Sorry if this has been discussed before but the search returns nothing for wipers and I'm sure I've seen something about recommendations. I am having a hard time finding replacement blades or wipers. Does anybody have a suggestion or advice re: the best wipers for the RL. Also model number and where to get them? I guess I could go all the way to a dealer but you would think that they are available on line.
Thanks for any help.

BTW, I found the best way to search the archives is to Google the subject followed by "Acurazine", and it usually works.
This is a great forum, but the search engine ...

I tried Autozone, Parts America, and the local Honda dealer. No one had the correct size so I ended up ordering from an Acura dealer 100 miles away. It was only like $13-$14 shipped to my house for the rubber blade inserts.

I paid $5 for the wiper blade insert for the passenger side from dealer. I tried buying Rain-X brand thinking they would be better, but didn't fit and had to return them. The cheapest, easiest way to go is to just buy the replacemnet blade from the dealer, very easy to install.

Wasn't there a TSB out on the wipers too? I could've sworn I had the dealer replace mine...

The PIAA Super Silicone inserts work very well in the RL. There are a few threads here about them. They are reasonably priced and perform better than the OEM inserts. I put them on my wife's 2006 MDX as well.

I second the PIAA silicone inserts. No streaking or noise.
Available on the web, I think at Autobarn.

There is a TSB. I complained about my wipers because they were not clearing the middle of the windshield well, and they replaced the inserts, and adjusted the wiper arms so that more force was being applied on the passenger side, and that did the trick. Do not think they applied the TSB however, which is more extensive.

Part nos. PIA94048 (19" passenger side - $6.99) and PIA94070 (driver side 28" - $8.99). Just buy the refills and slide them into the existing wiper. Takes about 5 minutes to remove the old refills and put the new ones in.

If you go to Autobarn, use couupon code LABORDAY08 for 10% off ($75 minimum) and free shipping over $100 through 09/01.
