Wiper Insert Replacement - Damn!

Wipers were streaking and chattering so I decided it was finally time for new inserts. Went down to the local auto parts store and got the inserts the book said were appropriate. Got home and got the passenger side changed. All I can say is Honda must have outsourced the wiper insert removal procedure to Germany for complication. Hot diggity... It's not particularly difficult, just time consuming and mildly irritating.

P.S. That little cover for the two screws that hold the blade to the arm was a little bitch the first time out but I got 'em off no problem.

Yeah, not your standard wiper blades. When I changed mine, I took them off the car. Took a little more time but much easier.

It's not hard, and no tools required. Just slide the old inserts out and slide the new ones in. The procedure in the manual is needlessly complicated.

And you can do it without taking off the actual wipers from the arm.

Anyone got a procedure, link, or pics? I'm thinking about replacing mine.

a little off topic but Costco sells teflon blade refills too. Never bought them for the RL though. Near the other auto parts, car battery section..
