Wind Noise - Rear Passenger Side

I thought I saw someone make a post that they were having wind noises (above ~40mph) from the rear passenger door area. I was wondering if they were able to narrow it down, exactly where it was coming from. I have the same noise at the same speeds, but am having trouble narrowing it down. It sounds almost like it's coming from the fixed piece of glass on the passenger door, but It could just as easily be the whole door gasket. Can anyone pipe in?

Assuming the window is completely raised, I would check the rubber gasket / seal that encompasses the door perimeter. It may be pinched, folded or breached allowing the wind noise. These rubber weather seals are instrumental to the sound deadening of the RL.

The door gasket isn't pinched and water doesn't appear to get behind it. I've even tried adjusting the rear door latch to bring that door in tighter when it's closed. Unfortunately, that didn't help. Heavy - damnit, I though maybe it was you with the same problem

Heavy, need I remind you the RL can indeed talk?

"Using IBM Embedded ViaVoice software, Honda is the first car manufacturer to equip automobiles with in-car navigation systems using advanced speech recognition and text-to-speech capabilities that can identify spoken street and city names that exist across the entire continental United States."

"To create this advanced, natural-sounding text-to-speech system, IBM and Honda research-and-development teams digitally processed hundreds of hours of speech recordings previously found in earlier-model Honda systems. They also produced hundreds of additional recordings to design a high-quality, customized, natural-sounding text-to-speech voice, digitally segmenting speech and intonations that can allow vehicles to communicate naturally with their drivers. The result: a totally new type of speech synthesis that can capture the characteristics of the human voice. In addition to the natural-sounding text-to-speech, the Honda Odyssey, the Acura RL and the Acura MDX now feature more than 700 commands and more than 1.7 million street and city names that are accessible by voice. "

Apologies to OP....sometimes I just cannot help myself.

LoL, tampa is drinking again. Sorry to disappoint, but I was serious.

First re-learn the window buttons.

Then take someone with you to the power wash station and spray it with water. Look for the leaks.

Next check the trim garnish around the windows and the B pillars. The RL has side mounted flush glass to reduce wind noise. If any of the trim has become loose, it may be the cause.
