What makes you say it will be cheaper? The Honda Legend is named that way because there is no Acura in Japan...In fact, if that exact car was brought to America it would likely cost more than the American version because of additional features the Japanese version has.

i said that with n ot knowing there was no Acura elsewhere in the world. and the reason for those statements was bc if there was a Honda Legend here there is no way the price point would be more then the RL....no one is going to pay that kind of money for a Honda over an Acura
would anyone pay more for a camery then a GS?
but again, those remarks were made with the lack of knowlege of the foreign market. i would loooooooove to have an RL, but again at age 24, i dont see one in the affordable near future

^^ Acura's Marketing always wanted your statement on everybodys mind.
Acura > Honda.
Truth is, they are the same. The only reason why there is Acura here in US is because 1. the market is huge and there are possibilities of segmentations, 2.- They wanted to make sure that their Mid to upper segment customers are far away from the Honda Civic.
I like the name Honda Legend. That is how I knew about the car back home. Gorgeos car and i knew people paying $52 grand for a coupe back in 1992 (yeah after 80% in taxes).
Honda Legend will never make it here. That will be a step back.

I'm wondering if the Hong Kong Acura RL will be any different from the US?
The '96 - '04 RL in Hong Kong had adjustable rear seats and a few other goodies we couldn't get here.

Intelligent night vision will be available for the RL in Hong Kong, same as the new Honda Legend in Japan. And the MSRP is at HKD$357,000 (around USD$45,800).

why are people asking if the honda legend will come to america?
it already is in america and it's called the acura RL. besides the badge and grill the car is the same except of course some of the japanese features that didn't make it here.
the original legend became the RL. they aren't two different cars.

OEM equipment/features/accessories...
I'll be interested in JDM Legend, and hope US RL could come with the selective/varied choices of equipments and features.
JDM Legend's price is about 5,250,000 ~ 6,909,000 JPY ($51,198 ~ 67,377 if 1 JPY = $0.009752)
Btw, we all know what's difference between US RL and JDM Legend. But there are something more about their accessories and keyless system...
And, more choices here... JDM Legend Accessories

I don't mean to buy them all, but it's good to equipped with some of them in crowded NYC.
