I had always think dohc is more efficient than sohc, why can't Honda make a dohc 3.5L or 3.7L engine?

 

more weight and moving mass and more expense....

The new 3.7 liter motor has VTEC on exhaust side also..

 

I don't think dohc is gonna add that much more weight, while the camry have dohc 3.5L engine, I don't think it is that expensive to make. I also notice that dohc engines rev so much faster. Like comparing the integra and a civic.
