Where to Put DRL'S?
Hi everyone...
I want to install Osram DRL to my KB1.
There is a space below fog lights but I wonder does it effect front brake rotor air cooling vent flow in case of installation here?
What do you think?
Regards...

ahhh, gotcha.
I think this has potential, I do not see where you would affect anything performance wise by putting it in the vent.
I'm not certain about the fitment, there will be some trimming and creative mounting.

Haha...
Actually I had created this photo compisition for MSW 6SP, but you are on the net
Let's check "unmodified" pic:
#1 This is not a "фляга", this is a "şişe" (can be pronounced like SHEE-SHAY). "фляга" is MyKL's language, not mine...
I put this "şişe" for MSW 6SP. All road are dirty in Turkey
#3 Nobody sees my "pense". You should
#4 My wife's school. She had an exam on Sunday and all the car lots were full. So, I had to "wait" (not park ) on semi-sidewalk - semi road position.
Shame on me

Actually, I had no time for installation. Just put the lights into the spaces to see.
But I've tested the light and recorded a video. System works amazing. Just connect cables to the battery, that's it!
The control unit detects "ripple current" when the alternator feeds battery, which means running engine.
If you want them to be turned off when your lights are ON, connect orange cable to side markers' cable.
%50 dimming can be used when low beams are on. Just need to connect BLUE to ground.
Pixel-free lighting is very cool...

This design was less than perfect, but it was plug and play when everything needed to be connected. I went this route so that I could revert to stock and not splice any original wires. I have since come up with what I think is a better design, but it will likely never come to fruition without another Honda with highbeam DRLs in my garage.

Very nice Turk.
Did you have to cut or trim the inner side of those pseudo vents or did they fit inside those spaces without cutting?
I am curious if in those positions if they enhance the lighting of the road nearest the car?

Thanks.
I've just drilled a small hole for the cable.
The bracket provided is very useful. I've installed the bracket on bumpers own, not to that plastic grill. Put four screws to upper and two to the plastic gril for enforcement.
I used ECE R48 rules for measurements and I ensured that DRLs' angle is 90 degree to floor. Everything fits to the rules
When low beams are on, DRLs are off. So, nobody will sware on me...

The DRL fitment looks good. Let me know when you are ready to swap my Acura headlights for your Honda set.

Whats up Turk? I just caught up on this thread. I was confused at first because I did not comment in this thread yet but you must be referring to my 'thanks' on post #10 and my comment about driving on dirt roads in you previous thread.

If you will also send your gront grill, we may think about exchange...

Considering they match your headlights almost perfectly, there seems to be good reason to believe they aren't 6000k* regardless of how the picture was taken. 6000k is blue. Those are white.
*Unless your headlights are 6000k.
