i have not been able to find anyone selling the 5Zigen exhaust - except for two places.

Visionary racing has it listed, as well as some other internet site. both places wanted a lot. I believe the listprice I saw was between $1300-1500.

neuronbob said he managed to buy this exhaust AND the AEM intake for about $1000.

please tell me where I can find that deal!?!?!

Can't find it anymore at that price. I bought from Visionary. I bought 18 months ago and the price of the exhaust has increased considerably since then. Part of the issue is that the exhaust has to be shipped from Japan.

You can also try PM'ing mrheeltoe, a site vendor who also can get some parts from Japan.

Not only is it being shipped from Japan but also remember that the dollar is weaker today than it was 18 months ago.

Good point, Roy. We bought ours at about the same time and probably about the same price.

Mayhap a group buy is in order? Is there enough interest to interest a seller to do a GB, I wonder?

Since the 5Zigen importer is here in SoCal, I contacted them to find out if they're still producing the kit and who, if anyone, sells it in SoCal. They responded to confirm that the kits are still made in Japan, take 8-10 weeks to arrive on special order and that they'll sell them for MSRP direct.

They also referred me to two dealers in San Diego that can order it. One quoted 1200, the other 1100, shipped.
