Wheels
Hi guys!
Please help me.
Got wheels from 2014 TL 5x120 for 2008 RL.
On forums its saying it should fit. But NO. Caliper on the way on front.
Can I put spacers???
On wheel shop they told me it is "brembo" caliper even it is says "acura".
Also I am going to sell that package:
TL 2014 Wheels x 4 (like new only 6000 miles)
Tires 255/45 R18 x 4 Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position (new)
Ceneter Cap x4 (new OE)
TPSM x 4 (new OE)
Set Wheels Nuts x 20 (new OE)
Everything mount and balance.
Please help me.

Yes they are brembos... the spoke is hitting the caliper correct? Large enough spacers will help if that is the issue.

Sorry, now to answer your question. Only someone who has done this wheel swap can answer you, and if you are one of the first, let me first congratulate you. Second let me ask that you figure it out with a little trial and error and then share the results with the rest of us so we can promptly copy what you're doing. I'd suggest starting with a 3-5mm spacer. If not go bigger. You need to fill the gap between the brake rotor face and the back side of the wheel. Use whatever size spacers gets the wheels off of the calipers. Good Luck.

An adapter is a spacer that allows you to run different bolt patterns.
I do not own an RL or the wheels you bought so I cant say the minimum spacer that will allow it to fit.
A spacer sits on your hub extending it out further so the wheel spokes sit further away from the brake assembly.
I would assume 25mm spacers would clear them as 25mm spacers are decently large.
Im not sure how great 25mm spacers would fit when it comes to the tires rubbing the fender. Put the wheel on as far as it will go before it hits the spoke. The same between the hub and your wheel is the size spacer you need.
Good luck. Sorry I cant help further.

OP, the RL wheel bore is 64.1 and hub centric. You need a spacer that is thick enough to push the wheel out past the caliper. We can't tell you that distance. You need a 5x120, 64.1 hub centric spacer. If you go out too far, you will need a spacer with lug extensions as the original lugs will not have enough thread to safely mount.
No, they are Advics. Your noob is showing.

Ooooorrrrrr....you could just cut your losses, sell them and get something that fits properly. That's my best suggestion for you.

These RL's have been around for a long time and the wheel size issue has been discussed since 2005. BDogg gave you the best advice: buy some wheels that fit the car.
BTW - posting about wheels or doing a search may work better in the "wheels" sub forum.
P.S. TL wheels on an RL? You are going in the wrong direction!
