1) A new 2010 RL Tech??? Dealer is asking $47k.

2) A previously untitled 2008 Tech with 5k miles (it was a dealer demo). This car is available at a different dealership with an asking price of $42k.... seems a bit over priced given that I can buy a 2 year newer car for $5k more.

Again both are asking prices. If I were to negotiate, what's a good target price???

This site is fairly accurate, from what I have seen recently $44K to $45K is the average. The '08 is too much, but they are basically stuck there. I wouldn't want to pay more than $35K for it.

 

IMO get an '09 CPO RL. They are selling for far less. I believe one sold on eBay last week for $37K.

 

The Acura dealer nearest to me had 2 09 RL's left (1 base and 1 tech), the base was marked down to 38,660 and the tech was 40,990. These cars had been sitting on the lot for almost a year. LiveNupe you should try to shoot for these numbers...it's worth a shot.

It was ORR Acura in Shreveport, LA...I just checked their inventory and they are both gone. Have you checked cars.com? they have quite a few lightly used RL's for decent prices. I'm not sure if any of them are close to you; they have some 08's with less than 10K miles on them.
