Just read on the Canadian Acura site you can get the 20th Anniversary Special Edition RL for only $400 CN more than MSRP. You get a rear deck spoiler and a 20th Anniversary emblem. Wow, that should really boast sales in Canada. Wonder why we can't get the Special Edition in the States? If we could I am sure the Rls would fly out of the showrooms. Not. What is Acura thinking?

That IS, after all, what 'RL' stands for.....'REALLY Limited'

 

Anniversary Edition or not i don't think anything can help RL sales

 

Lemme get this straight.
Not only do they get the 20th Anniv. edition in Canada;
But they also can get the Blue pearl color with an Ebony interior AND they get ventilated seats?

What gives? Are they a bigger market up north? Why would we in the US get gypped ?

Although I grumble over the cooled seats, our Canadian friends north pay dearly for th RL. The price differential is much greater than the badge and color choice adds to our packaging and choices. Throw in the weak US dollar and the comparison is greater. Acura must off unique packaging for the Canadian market, but the selection of the packaging does make me scratch my head. The RL is eve more exclusive in Canada...and that exclusivity costs them.
