Actually, no, Treblig. I'm pretty much a "stock" guy, and since the car is leased, I can't go too crazy.

I've had the car tinted - 35% sides and 20% rear and I've hardwired my escort 8500 X-50. Beyond that, I'm still looking into a bypass for the nav lockout and I'll probably do something there.

Otherwise, she'll stay just like God (oops, Lexus) made her.

Hey Mike,
I was just wondering, what did the new beauty do to your insurance? Did it go up a whole lot ? Did I mention I love the exhaust on your "new" baby???

Well, I don't have the exact numbers yet, but suffice to say the insurance for the LS is about $350 less per year than both the RL and the MDX combined. IOW, I got about a $30 a month decrease in insurance costs, but it's for one car - not two.

So, it went from about $650 for 6 months to about $475 (State Farm writes 6-month policies in Texas). That tells me the LS is costing almost half again as much as the RL to insure.

I like the exhaust finishers, too ... but they're kind of a knockoff of the TL's in a way.

no no no no no . . . . . . . I don't agree, the way the exhaust goes into the actual bumper, it looks so clean, nothing like the TL, no offense TL Guys, I am a former TL owner. It just ads a classy look to your new ride, OK enough, I'm starting to wonder what my payment would be. . . . . . . .

I was kinda thinking about the trapezoidal shape more than anything else. But you're right - the ones on the LS are better integrated.

Congratulations.Stupendous car.My old man has been driving 7 series for the last 15 years, but recently did make the switch like you. For having the luck of test driving it, I'm still incredibly impressed, awed about the eye-watering experience this Lexus has procured to me. It's true that this is an Acura Forum, but most members here are fair and give justice where it is due.Once again, congratulations on an epic purchase.

Not bad.

I have State Farm and I pay around $400.00/6 months for my 07 RL.
