Video: Cosmo Racing Intake

I got bored yesterday and as a PSA I took a little video of the Cosmo Racing Intake in an 05 RL.

Link to the intake: http://www.cosmoracing.com/productin...d=128&pid=1969

Link to the video:

Hopefully this helps with the "What does the intake sound like" question we see a lot.

Todd

Here's some pics of it installed. Yes there are connections for the breather.

What size intake piping is that? Can you do some measurements of it and the filter? Filter, base, length, and top. That'd be awesome man!

Standard 3" stuff really. If you're fitting into an RL for which is what designed it fits

pretty dumb to not have your seat belt on going 60.

it sounds pretty mean!
but with a short ram intake you're sucking up hawt air.

I knew someone would bring up the seat belt lol

As far as the warm air, im in the process of making a shield to protect it and also might put and extension to bring it down into the fender more similar to the AEM CAI but a lot cheaper, about $280 cheaper

here's one more vid just reving it to about 4k or so

Is there really any difference between K&N, injen, AEM and this intake etc etc etc?

I think that biggest differences are the filters, aluminium tubes are pretty much the same, ok small differences i think.
My plan is to buy one of those cheapest kits and buy for example K&N filter afterwards.
