V3 RV6 JPipe for RL??
Just saw on the RV6 site that a V3 J pipe will be debuting for the 7th Gen Accord and 3rd Gen (which iirc had interchangeable PCDs and HFPCs for our RL's before our own came out).. So does this mean that our RL's will see a V3 J Pipe as well (depending on the demand)?
If so, would it also be a long pipe that removes the 3rd Cat Converter? Would that make a significant difference performancewise from the V1/V2? If so, would it affect us during an emissions inspection? Thanks fellas..

if v3 removed the cat for the TL then yes, you can expect a v3 version to remove the third cat from the RL.
except, as you said it, demand. is there demand for a v3!?
and yes, you'll gain 3-5 horsies by removing the cat. and about 15hp all together with the jpipe, no cat combo.
and no, since there are no sensors monitoring the third cat you wont ever get a check engine light. which means you'll pass emissions

thanks for the reply, it's a great help! one last question, does removing the 3rd cat alter the sound much from the V1/V2 (on the TL)?

the v3 jpipe was my very first mod for the TL.
if I didnt tell you that I changed to aftermarket pipes, no one would be the wiser.
sounded like stock at idle-4k RPM.
after 4k RPM the sound got throatier almost akin to the sound of a cold air intake.
to answer your specific question, I wouldnt know if it changes the sound between the v1/v2 and v3.
I want to say no, but if it did, it would be very negligible or you wouldnt know the difference.
