I've read a few posts that seem to indicate Acura has issued various updates for the transmission firmware/software. I have an 06 which will be heading into the dealer shortly for the brake master cylinder recall - should the dealer be able to check to see if the tranny updates were ever applied to my car?

Thats what I was thinking that we can updates stuff like that. I wanted to update the awd so that it is the same as the newer body ones where I heard transferes to the back more. If there is an update for the tranny please update us.

Just got a notice that Acura wants to perform an update for our transmission on the MDX a few weeks ago. Nothing I know of for the RL though.

They were doing those MDXs when I got my brake recall done, but they said there were no new updates for me.
