Talking Transmission filter location/replacement

Good evening everyone, I’ve heard these filters are “internal” however seeing that there’s a bolt and pipe that sticks out of the housing really makes me feel like it’s in a tedious place rather than inside the transmission. If anyone has any pictures that’d be extremely helpful. I bought the filter and I ring prior to learning this and really don’t want to have had wasted the money

here’s a layout of the transmission, to get a better idea of what I mean by the housing’s design

Hoping someone figures it out as I'd be interested in replacing the filter as well!

i changed it in 2018. Dealership service dept says filter change on trannies is grandpa time. Now it's like a screen same like a window screen. They don't change it.

He also said to change that oil every 48000 Kms.

Got it! I know there are RLs with 300k without this being serviced so there's some comfort in that. Thank you!
