Timing belt

Hey guys, what's up?

So I recently purchased a 2006 RL with 141k mi. Upon checking the car fax, I noticed that the timing belt was changed at 82k mi. My question is, what's the intervals for changing the belt? The owners manual says 60k if you constantly drive in extreme heat/cold weather. So what mileage should it be in normal weather?

100K?..ish? Maybe sooner, maybe later, depend on how you drive. Peek behind the cam cover and see how it looks.
Mostly, the T/B schedule is PM for the water pump.

105,000 miles or 7 years (yes, age figures into this as well)

Came here to say exactly what Dan said. I'll add that the belt pretty much destroys this "interference"-type engine if it breaks, but Honda J Series engines like this one have a reputation for having the belt last longer than this interval.

I live in the northern part where it does get cold. Did mine at 110K and the belt looked like it was almost new. But looks can be deceiving. I would guess that Honda/Acura is conservative to be safe on these interference engine.
