viet kid, its a used car.
treat it as such.
kick the tires, check fluids, take it on an extended test drive, etc...
you are given some weapons in your arsenal.
use them.
carfax and a pre-purchase inspection are some tools that you can use.
these are Honda's that are GENERALLY reliable and it all depends on how the previous owner treated the car.
if previous owner treated car like poo, you will get a poopoo car.
by getting a pre-purchase inspection done on the car, the mechanic will let you know of any problems he sees, and then it will be your decision on purchasing.
also, by taking it on an EXTENDED test drive, any issues will show itself

at 215k miles, that car should have had its timing belt changed twice.
if, 2nd timing belt replacement hasnt been done, look into dropping some coin on replacing the timing belt and water pump.

I've used the service eBay recommends and it is excellent. You'll get back an amazing report.

In fact, I may have them do mine before I advertise it for sale. Which in time I'll do here if I'm ever magically turned into a member.

If you're looking to purchase an RL with over 200k on it, I'm going to assume two things:
1-Your budget for a vehicle is not very large.
2-Your budget for repairs to said vehicle is also not very large.
Yes, there are plenty of RL's out there with over 200k miles on them. We've had many members on this site take their cars over 200k miles. That said, a car with over 200k on the odometer is well over the hill in its life and is probably at least 4 times more likely to suffer catastrophic mechanical damage than a car with half its miles. Poke your head around www.acuraoemparts.com for a bit. Take a look at how much some of the parts for these vehicles cost. Here's a link to the rear differential:

The RL is a very advanced luxury vehicle. The prices on secondhand RL's continue to drop but repair costs stay the same. It would be more economical to scrap an RL with 215k miles and a blown engine, transmission or differential than pay to have it fixed.
Here's my advice to you OP: I assume you're looking at a $5k-$7k vehicle. Don't buy an RL. Get yourself a nice, reliable, semi-late model Honda Civic.
