Thinking of Buying this 05RL, how much would you pay?

I saw this on eBay and no one won it so the dealer told me to offer a price.

How much would you pay for it?

I'm also not a fan of the tan interior, but if the price is good, I guess I can live with it. =)

It's a 05 Carbon Grey / Tan Interior - about 12000 miles - it says it's under warranty.. so I'm thinking even if it has a scratch or two.. if the price is like $33k.. I'd take it.

I doubt it would be 33k ?, but if it is grab it !

Isn't that the taupe interior? I have an 05 Carbon Grey/Taupe. Had an 03 MDX and 04TL with tan..really like the change.

Anyway, I paid a little over $40 brand new. Now have 15K miles. Considering the soft market for these when they're new and the pricing of new models, I wouldn't expect anything more than 31-33K max for mine. I know there's been other threads with debate on what these used cars should be worth. My guess is the dealer didn't pay more than the upper 20s on a trade in. I think that's the reality...it doesn't bother me much since I enjoy my car and have no plans to sell anytime soon. Others think their cars are worth more and that's fine. For this one, I wouldn't pay more than 32-33K max, starting around 30K in the negotiation.

The interior looks Taupe not Parchment (tan). I'd offer $30,500 to begin with, then see what they come back with. I wouldn't pay more then $32,500 unless I could see it in person and possibly drive it.

Does Taupe look better than tan? Is it a lighter color than Tan? I might need to stop by my local Acura.

I prefer the parchment myself over tan, but it's all up to you.

I've been watching lots of '05's on eBay over the past two months - the BEST price I saw was a second chance offer on a Black/Parch w/ 9800 miles for $34,750.

Very nice car and it was at a BMW dealer.

I'd say I normally prefer the parchment or tan, but the taupe is wearing on me. Took a while but really like it more all the time.

Obviously the best deals on used RLs are going to be from private parties. 37K...LOL, good luck Lexus of Greenwich. I'm sure they'll end up finding someone who hasn't done their homework on the new and used RL market. I'd value those 12,000 miles of use at about $10,000, so if you can buy new for $40-$42K, would say this one is worth on either side of $32,000.

Cars have awful resale in year 1 & 2. year 3, they come back to normal depreciation. I am keeping my RL for awhile. For new, $43K tops and For used, $35K tops.
