Tein Street Flex

Just thought you guys should know that Tein is developing Street Flex Coilover Kit for the RL. Scheduled to be released Jan 2013 but some are going to be available in early December for other cars so hopefully we will be next very soon! Roughly $1558...Just another option for coilovers

So Tein wait until the car is "end of life" and then they develop an expensive mod that will appeal to 3 people?
Another great corporation decision.

The car has only reached its EOL for old farts who carry briefcases. Now that many young men can afford an RL, the modding resources will begin to grow. The market has not dwindled; it just exploded. (Like a soda can explosion, though, not TNT. )

Talked to Marcus at heeltoe auto. He says the street flex are 60 to 90 days to get. May buy them and wait.

60 to 90 days must be via boat. The total time (including shipping from the distributor to my proxy) was around 2 weeks for my coilovers from Japan to USA. I'm having the Street Flex put on next week, and have already sold my Largus Harmonics.

Saw your PM but your inbox is full. So far the lowering options for the KB1 are as follows:

: OEM A-Spec
: H&R Springs
: Largus Harmonic
: Tein Street Flex
: Tein Comfort Spec
: Aragosta (w/ air cups)

Here's pics while I was swapping the Mugen springs for H&R springs

I didn't want to post pics before I do a photo thread. I came a long way since I first started out looking for the JDM Grille. I spent the last couple months whoring Yahoo Auctions. Here's how she sat after the install, rides great!!

Awesome bro. That looks like THE perfect Daily Driver height If I weren't for a more aggressive drop (my personal preference) you know I'd be rocking the Mugen kit to fit with my theme.

Like I said, that's a first here AFAIK. It seemed more plausible to get a leprechaun's lucky charms than find a set of Mugen coilovers.

The funny thing is I almost sold it. I want a more agressive drop but a number of factors came into play, the main being this is my daily driver. Im happy with how it looks and rides right now. Toronto streets are not forgiving. Im going to Kentucky this coming weekend for Import Alliance. I'll take pics and post in the photo thread when its clean and put together. I got the 6 series wheels to work Which was a plus IMO.

Haha I was trying to run these, a set of BMW Style 107 or a wheel similar to an 06 VW GTI wheel. For me it was hard to find something in my size in the style I was looking for. I was trying to go with a concave look, but I had either seen it or didn't like it.

Side note, but I'd love to see your car in person if you're planning on driving thru the Detroit area! Didn't realized you were in the 416, I grew up in Montreal myself.

end/ threadjack
