Tearing up the sensors on RL transmission

06 RL w/ 189K of "fun" driving since I purchased in 2010. I have maintained the car well but tend to drive it rough at times.
Saturday night, for the second time in 3 months, it threw the medley of warning lights. I replaced the sensors (input and output) in April. I noticed immediately a new high pitched whine. I am assuming by the destroyed speed sensors (pictured) the bearing is toast and shaft is wobbling. I have looked allover and not finding much on a trans swap for these. I bought 2 more sensors, put them in yesterday and drove it about 500 feet, once in gear, I heard whine noise. Got code. Went back in garage, there is already a bad mark on the output sensor. (side note, I know access by removing the top engine pull off cover and tran dipstick, feel around to remove). I also shimmed each a tad more to no avail.

So, if anyone else has experienced this and know its a loose gear by the same symptoms, that would be good to know. I am eyeballing the JDM used transmissions for a possible DIY swap but this is an early assumption. Again, I am not finding a solid video or play by play on the RL trans swap.

I take it those aren't OE sensors?

Everyone who has had that found that there should be a washer on top.

I've Been working on 4 different 19-20 years old vehicles lately.
I've added washers to shim with no luck. Still getting chewed up in less than a mile now. Also, have a high pitched whine that may be a bad bearing in transmission that started right before these started getting torn up. I figure the shaft is wobbling around. Going to sell car and just bought a 2021 TLX SH-AWD to replace my favorite car ever, the 2006 TECH RL.
