Symptom of worn wheel hub(NOT wheel bearing)

Good evening Acura lovers

So whats the symptom of a worn wheel hub. I definitely have bad bearings but not sure if I need to replace the hub as well
Passenger side was bad for a year or even more. When I make left turn passenger side makes the scratching noise as if brake dust shield is running against the rotor. Is it really scratching against the rotor? Or this noise is produced In some other way.

Sometimes inner race of the bearing can become lose and actually rub against the wheel hub. See pics to visualize faqed wheel hub in more detail. I want to know if I should spend extra money to replace hubs or take the bearing out inspect hub and then if it turns out to be bad order another hub

Wouldn't you have to outsource pressing the bearings in and out to a shop? More cost effective to just replace the whole hub, especially on a minivan, no?

U can Hammer it out. Need a friend to hold the wheel assembly while you Hammer. I think this is better than using press. No chance of bending anything. there is a video of the trick on youtube by some guy with a French accent. Use 4-5lbs Hammer and some heavy piece of cylinder shaped steel as an adapter between Hammer and wheel hub. Use some big bolts and washers from home Depot to press bearings inside. I have done these jobs before without press. Sometimes AutoZone ball joint rental tool fits the space. Sometimes I buy long threaded bolts from home Depot. Over time have a good collection of pipes, washers and adapters to press in any bearing.

Whole assembly will be a lot more expensive. And they only sell entire assembly for rear end. Front is all separate.

I'll take one out in few days will post . 220k miles on the wheel bearing. It's just most people say wheel hub wear is very rare. But happens

I forgot on the FWD stuff like the Odyssey the front hub is all in separate parts. My Camry was like that too. I would honestly just do the hub if the cost is that prohibitive. If the noise is still there, but new assembly and do it all over again in your home garage. Easy.

It's 100$ but just hate to waste money if I don't have to . I'll pull everything out and post pics. So people could see For future reference. It's pretty worn . Steering wheel shakes at speeds over 70mph. There is no super loud noise as you can see on YouTubes.
There is a scratching noise when making a left turn. As if brake dust shield is rubbing against the rotor

Not bad at all, I'd clean that up with some light sand paper and slap it together.
