Survey from Acura
Survey from Acura
Just found a request for my input on an RL and Acura survey in one of my email accounts. Anyone else get this also?
As you can tell, I haven't taken it as yet - says 10-15 minutes, but I'm suspicious of those times (comes from a long history of "only take a few minutes").

I received the survey request by email in the past few days. I did it today. They asked what I liked and disliked about the car in general. Then they asked specific qustions about acuralink/onstar. what was most interesting is they are asking people about features that would come through acuralink and replace onstar features such as remote unlock, stolen car tracking, etc. they were also asking re: features such as enhanced traffic/weather/point of interest information. These new features could be another way to differentiate the RL from the competition. However, IMHO these features may not significantly increase the number of RL's sold.
Just took the survey and it did seem like they were guaging interest for a service similar to OnStar.
Also seemed heavy on Acuralink which I can't access due to the cell phone model I have. Unfortunately, I still have a while before I can change the phone.
Didn't seem to take that long to complete (probably close to their estimate) and wasn't a "sales pitch" or anything.
Would recommend anyone that gets the survey to take it and let them know what you think.
BTW - it does NOT come from Acura, so it may look like just some more junk mail (I know it did to me at first).

I got it as well. Interesting is that I remember the company that is conducting the survey. THey contacted me shortly after I bought by 2004 Land Cruiser. They were conducting a large in-person survey at a hotel. For an hour of my time, they paid me $300.
Asked me similar questions about what "tier" of packages I would be willing to purchase.
