That's the document tray - it also pulls out rather easily and exposes the compartment for the cabin air filter. It's an easy DIY.

LoL, its in the first post...

4. There are two buttons inside the glove box. One is to disable the trunk lock (valet lock-out feature). The other is to open a hidden compartment to store the owner's manual. A hidden compartment, hmmmmm.

Be careful when changing the in cabin filter/ This tray pulss out easily but the clips that hold it in place are plastic and if not reinserted slowly and aligned the clips can break easily. Once they break the tray will rattle until the chickens come home. The only fix is replace the entire glove box (+$400). Acura broke mine when in for service and had to replace the unit. Wasn't known (right) until I brought I it to their attention

Moral of the story, if you notice your clips are about to break take it to the dealer for service and let them break them.

My salesman failed to point it out when I picked up the car AND asked about a place to store the book!! So I found it by mistake, but.....it is described in the Owner's Manual.

And how many of you have read that whole thing? RTFM!!??

If your stash is so close to your cabin airflow, does it make the car smell good? (or bad if you're pulled over?)

Airtight plastic canister FTW! Unless the cop owns an RL, he probably won't find it
