Stock cell count for our cats?

Interested because I want to do some mods. Richie is selling the 200 cell so I just wanted to see if the price is worth it compared to ours.

Ours should be 600 IIRC. We have discussed it at least twice when comparing them to TL-S an Accord cats.

I could have sworn I read something like 400? It was some Honda article but cant find it now. If its 600, its a pretty good upgrade. But if its 400, what do you guys think?

Its 600. I remember the article you are talking about from Acura. I used to be able to google and find the article but not anymore. 200 is a huge upgrade in flow from 600. From 400 still an upgrade but not enough to justify the price. I plan on getting the HFC when I have a few extra dollars

Thanks! I thought I was crazy not being able to find that darn article. I think I will pick it up then when I get my tax return. The hfc doesn't rasp right? And the stock heat shield fits right on the hfc? L, for you why do you not want the pcd? Whats your take on the 2 or anyone else here for the RL?

No prob I don't think the stock heat shields go on the HFCs. I have heard the TL guys videos and it seems there is minimal if any rasp with the HFC's. I don't want to get the PCD's because there is a chance for rasp. I plan on cutting out my resonators (all 4) and getting two aftermarket ones put in. Also, you'll get the exhaust smell. That smell doesn't really bother me but I know it will bother some of my friends and family and since I'm not looking for all out performance from the RL, the HFCs should do.

If you're looking to get the most power from the mod the PCds are the best. But I think sound and smell wise the HFCs are good and you only lose a small amount of performance.

Just got High Flow Cats installed w/ J-Pipe, Intake and Pulley.
Getting my car back tomorrow cuz the mechanic wrecked a separate part trying to install all my parts (radiator) so he's installing that tomorrow.

I'll let you guys know how it all feels.

Yea you have to put cardboard on the radiator to keep it safe from removing parts. These radiators are pretty sensitive
