Yes, it will. They are exactly identical minus a few visual difference. If you have the black wheel, the MMC will not have the orange stitching compared to the pre-MMC accessory wheel. The steering wheel control button visuals are slightly different as well but you can swap it with your current buttons.

Great, thx. I've just bought one. I think I may be the only one in Europe to do this mod (we didn't have wood steering wheel option at all here !) : 05-08 Acura RL Steering Wheel with Controls | eBay

Yup, that's an MMC wheel alright. I actually prefer the all black stitching as it blends in with the interior better. The orange/brownish stitching doesn't flow too well with the interior. If you look at your current hands free link button you'll notice a straight arrow and the word back, the MMC wheel button removed the back wording and the arrow is curved. I know I have too much time on my hands...

Also I didn't know that this wheel wasn't an option in Europe. But I'm guessing you have power folding mirrors?

Acutally, when I first saw the pre-MMC version on ebay I thought it's fake because of the stitching. Later on, I learned, it's how it's suppose to look. I didn't know up until I found this one on ebay that MMC fixed it .
Buttons on mine look exactly the same as MMC version in US, though.
In Europe we had 2 versions of RL/Legend. One packed with everything (except plood steering wheel I guess) and the other one with pretty much everything but radar. Of course, we've got power folding mirrors on both as standard .
I've got packed version with real wood console, CMBS, adaptive cruise control etc. Details of Europe's versions can be found here:

Learn something new everyday. I guess the JDM market came with the most loaded Legend/RL since I believe they have the night vision and power folding trunk depending on what model.

In any rate, the wheel looks good and you should definitely pick it up. Take some pictures when you do install it.

I made an offer and got it for 205$ . Is it expensive?? Previous one I saw (no buttons) went for 301$+ (that was my maximum). Thought this one was a real bargain (with buttons included).

I think $205 is a good deal including the buttons. Saves you a lot of time from avoid having to swap out the buttons.

Yeah, just found out it doesn't have buttons for the adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assistant. These are the only ones I will have to swap.

Lane keeping assist? I'm not sure I remember that option. What's that button look like?

Going price for the accessory wheel new was $420. The MMC one is over $600.

I don't remember what I paid titomang for a used wheel from him, but it came with a blemish. I was able to sell it after my crash with even more damage for $250 including the modified MDX wood knob.

$200 is a steal.

LKAS was developed in 2004 on the Accord in Japan. Honda launched it in the 2005 Legend along side CMBS/ACC, but like so many other features, American Honda nixed it to save on build costs. The first passive implementation in the US was the latest Accord with lane departure warning, and the first full, active implementation was on the RLX.

This makes me feel better. I just snagged an MMC wood wheel, with all the buttons, for 154$ shipped from LKQ, and it looks to be in really good shape

That was a sweet deal.
They originally had it listed as a grey wheel, which is what I'm forever looking for. I contacted them and asked them to verify, as the pictures made it look more black. Unfortunately (for me) I was correct.

Are you referring to this one:
Acura RL 2009 2012 Steering Wheel Wood 2010 2011 | eBay

I'm 95% sure that's beige. It's easier to tell when you see them together:

Yup, that's the one I was referring too. I wouldn't have noticed the shade difference unless you had pointed it out to me
