My '06 RL has developed the annoying habit of frequently generating spurious messages. At first it was just biweekly complaints that my DRLs might be malfunctioning. Now it's weekly, accompanied by a bunch of messages explaining the features of the car. I go through and delete them all and a few days later they're all back...

Anyone know what's going on?

Actually, the forum says this is your 58th post.

But the other issue sounds like a malfunctioning module somewhere. Or maybe an intermittent short caused by a loose connection or something similar.

Thing is, it's not right, and it's unlikely you could ever track it down. Take it in and let the "experts" track it down and fix it.
