Smoke from exhaust

Hi everyone! So i have a 2005 RL with 103K on it. Lately every time i start it up i get quite a bit of smoke from the black, bluish white smoke. After about 30 seconds it stops, but when i am driving after sitting at a light when i accelerate i get more smoke coming out the back. Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening and what the solution is?? Thank you in advance!

Head gasket? Does the exhaust smell like antifreeze? Does your oil look like chocolate milk? Are you losing any antifreeze?

White smoke is indicative of water getting into the pistons. Either a blown head gasket, a cracked cylinder, or a warped block.

Has the car ever overheated?
