Slow air leak

I had a slow air leak in my driver's side rear tire. It would lose about 5-7psi in a few days (more on cold days). Anyway, if anyone has this problem, the solution to my "mysterious" leak turned out to be air leaking out of valve stem due to the TPMS not being screwed in all the way. I understand if it's not a pin or a nail or whatever causing the leak, another thing to look into is the beading. Hopefully this helps someone else.

I had a slow leak in my MDX but it would only leak if the cap was off the valve stem. Turned out that the valve was not screwed into the stem all the way. A simple, less than a minute fix. Just screw it back in!

Okay, I lied. It was leaking air the next day. After taking off the wheel from the rim and running a cloth around the inside of the wheel, out comes a metal shard that looks like the one from the new Transformers movie. One new patch and my tire is holding air just fine.

Another one crossed off the gift list for RonJon wheels.

Glad you got it figured out Cowboy. I'd hate for you to take your RL out back and shoot her.
