Size of OEM Brake Pads

I had some routine service done, and on the worksheet they indicated I had 6mm remaining on the rear pads and 9mm on the front.

Any guess on how many miles are left until replacements? This is an '05 RL with easy driving; the current pads are original and I have about 98K on the car. I'm thinking I can make it to the 105K tune-up.

I think this all depends on driving (braking style). I think that's pretty good @ your current mileage. I'm replacing my front next week @ 46k miles. BUT... I do quite a bit of city "stop and go" driving.

My car is at the shop and just had the front pads replaced at 3mm. They were starting to grab with aggressive braking. The thing with the front brakes is that they start to wear faster as they get more worn.
