yes , i searched and saw the diagrams and directions. i was wondering if it has to come all the way off just to get to the three nuts holding it on. im not too confident i can get the entire door panel completely off without something breaking or leaving marks on it from prying on things. i don't have special tools of any kind to remove interior trim. has anyone been able to do this a easier way. thank you for providing me pictures again.

I've tried and there is no easy way to remove it, gotta pull the trim apart. Find a nice warm place and 3 hours to kill...

I bought one of these
Trim removal tools Trim removal tools
You can also find them at Harbor Freight for a cheaper price.

I haven't personally done it on the RL, but working on other Hondas, it wasn't too bad. If it's the same with other Hondas, it will be mostly clips. These clips are generally pretty good and should not break. Go slowly and I think you should be fine. I highly suggest that trim tool, they do help and prevent scratches.

Im just concerned about taking cables off of the locks and getting them back on without messing something up or not being able to get them back on right.

Electrical harnesses should be the least of you worries. Like the other poster mentioned, Honda interiors are held together with clips. The vast majority can be pulled with only your fingers. Japanese electronics are the best in the world, including the connectors.

Take your time, save the six pack for afterward, and you will be fine.

Assuming you don't go pulling hard on the connectors, things will be just fine. Patience is really the best thing. Might be worth while to have a second helper to help you unplug the connectors.

I think the connector should be the least of your worries. The disconnection of the door handle rod was the toughest for me.

EDIT: Found this video. Should give you an idea.
and this

Figured I would reply to this thread instead of starting a whole new thread

I was able to tighten the whole mirror assembly as it was pretty loose but now the glass itself still has a slight vibration to it. Has anybody else had this as well? Any fixes without having to replace the mirror glass itself? Rather not spend the $50 for this part if I don't have to.
