Perry Stern of MSN Autos does a review of Acura's SHAWD and the RL comparison to a Merc and LexusGS AWD is favorable to the RL. Gee....nice to see some positive press on the RL that does not even mention a V8!

I read that review this morning. I feel proud to own this car and to know that it handles so well and that it's validated by someone else! Really glad to see our cars get some great press!

On a purely asthetic note... I think the Black RL looks damn good in the snow! That front of pic should be in the brochure!

Conclusions
While Acura may not be the first name that comes to mind when thinking about high-tech all-wheel-drive systems, SH-AWD did prove to be quite effective in the extremely slick conditions in the Great White North.


Duh.

And yes, the black RL looks AWESOME in the snow. Funny, I was covetous of a rare carbon gray RL that I saw on the 405 freeway today...those pix helped me to snap out of it. Thanks for posting!
