For those of you who have not had your Acura updated regarding this service bulletin, please be aware that the dealership is supposed to confirm the number of minutes you have on your telephone account before performing this service. Otherwise all minutes are lost which is what happened to me.
Here's what the service bulletin says regarding this:
If the dealership forgets to do this and you lose all minutes, you can have them replaced by calling Onstar.

Use the OnStar Answer/Call End button in the customer’s presence to verify account status because
approximately:
1. 57% of customers have zero free minutes left.
2. 28% of customers have some free minutes left.
3. 15% of customers have purchased minutes.
