Rv6 J pipe second run sign up!

Hey fellow RLer's after hearing the sound of the j pipe coupled with the now known to fit TL pcd's I wanted it for myself! As we all know these were a limited run and could sign up to be notified when a second run would occur, well I wasn't satisfied with that so I emailed Mr. Rv6 a few times asking various questions about when and what to expect. Well tonight I decided to call the shop to order my pcd's and richie himself answered we chatted for a bit about when the second batch would run for us because there was some pretty good interest on here about them and he told me he has the material to do it and could start this week if we could get about 5-10 members to sign up!, I myself will me the first to do so if you'd like to gain some extra ponies for your RL then please sign up for the second batch of Rv6 j pipes!

This will be the best mod done to your RL, people don't sleep on this. If u want that extra oooompph this is for you. mpg is nearly the same if not better. Sound wise is pretty much the same as stock. Bottom end is where i feel the power the most, city driving it easy now. I'm sure some people will agree with me that the RL lags on the bottom end of the revs, with the jpipe installed its more responsive on the low end.
An intake will set you back 250 to 350 depending on the brand and most people will say you don't really get any gains but sound. So for double the price for an intake this JPIPE is a no brainer!!! The most bang for your buck performance mod out there for the RL. I'M LIVING MINES!!!

I really thought we had alot more interest than this from the 8 pages from the first batch of j pipes! I'm not giving up just yet but this is an excellent product for us and the one fortunate to have one already are enjoying it! Let's get a few more RL owners in that club!

I suppose the price is up there but for the gains to be had that's a pretty decent price for an excellent piece! Well if this second preorder falls through I'm sure richie wouldn't mind customizing a few for those that really want this!

I think that shipping would depend where you are located, contact RV6 for a quote:

I need this power bad. Sux when a dodge stratus can get me off the line...... An s/c or turbo is in my future also. Is NOS a reasonable consideration for a daily driver RL ?

Rather extreme but inspiration none the less. I'll start with jpipe and PCD's.....my warranty ends in 3 months. So 1 more service and full machanical inspection before I start the transformation

Great news! Preorder line is now open! There were 5 spots I took the first so there are 4 remaining! Get this while you can! Thanks to all those who helped generate interest in this I hope all works out for everyone! My wife will not be happy when she sees the bill slip but hey as I always say happy modding! Side not rv6 also updated his site to show the v3 pcds and hfc both fit the 2g RL!

Richie, have you ever thought of producing a rear sway bar for the RL?

God, I hope this fix is what you really meant, and no, NOS is not reasonable.

what about strut tower bars???

or TRUE sway bars - big ones... not the 09 upgrade..but a big fat hardcore sway bar. that would be a HUGE bang for the buck mod.. the 09 is an upgrade, but not much. a really big beefy one that truly kills body roll would be a great mod. and not too hard for someone to make.

I suppose I am confused that Dodge never made a Stratus SRT6. I could have sworn they did when the SRT4 came out but suppose it was maybe just a concept.

Either way, I really hope you just hesitated off the line to let a 200 hp Stratus with 7+ sec 60 time and 16 sec 1/4 mile beat you.

About the J pipe...the only concern I have about installing this is how do you pass smog checks? Do you leave the cats in place or spend the time to R&R the pipe + the cats? With the lightened crank pulley and J-pipe, I would imagine you could get some Ooomph out of that engine. Next thing might be larger injectors?

Ok so I got my pcds and j pipe this Friday and decided to do the install myself! First off having the right tools is key! Also my car is an 05 from a decent climate in Florida with 48k miles and still all of my exhaust bolts were seized and required heating or cutting off I'd address those issues before attempting! I started to follow the 8g accord write up but quickly realized the RL is a completley different vehicle! I am not an expert nor a rookie and at times questioned myself mainly because of all the things that needed to be taken off or out the get the pcds both of them out! For those of you who are thinking of attempting this install it's not hard just required patience and good tools!! PM me for tips and pointers! As for power adders wow! Low end mid range high end wow I'm so impressed! Serious no bs here guys this mod is legit! And I haven't even install my UR pulley yet!! So if you've been contemplating doing the pcds or J pipe do it! You won't regret it! It will make your RL owning experience that much better!!!

Yours truly JDM fanboy honda head FTW
