Rotors keep warping

Hello everyone. I have an 07 RL with approximately 202K on it. About 40K miles ago, I replaced the front pads and rotors. They were Stoptech’s rotor and pads package. About 20K miles later, the rotors were warped. I’ve been working on my own cars for years and have never had an issue with warping rotors that quick. The stock Bremo pistons pushed in fine, guide pins were freely moving, correctly torqued, etc. I swallowed my pride and bought new rotors and pads, again from Stoptech, but a slightly nicer rotor (with the anti-corrosion coating) as I live in New Hampshire. Well, about 5,000 miles ago, they started doing the same exact thing. Considering the miles on the car, I almost started to think it was a transmission issue downshifting. Scratching my head, thinking how could two sets of pads and rotors be only lasting me 20K+/- miles. With that said though, I’m convinced the rotors are warped again. Any thoughts or ideas on what’s going on??

Two points:
  • The RL does not have Brembo brake calipers, the calipers are made by Advics
  • If you have recurring overheating of rotors, then either one or more pistons in the calipers are hanging up, or there is something wrong with either the master cylinder or the proportioning valve.

Let me add my 2 pennies into the mess you are experiencing:
I purchased myself Z23 package, all slotted and drilled rotors, it was "the best" performance package from RockAuto.com.
My front calipers were replaced at around 120k, and 40k miles later I installed these rotors and brakes... after 12 months I experienced heavy shake in steering wheel: had all checked (last were brakes and rotors) and my mechanic took them to the spinner to show they were in fact warped. Rockauto.com was not honoring the warranty, manufacturer also told me to pack sand - not supporting "warping" under warranty and I was out of my 400$ and still had shaking steering wheel.

What I did was I bought front Centric rotors, Akebono ceramic (both top of the line you can find) after reading some horror stories here, and could not be more happier.
Since I replaced only front, I am getting ready to get rear replaced as well, and probably will go and replace all front and rear just in case...

Note: some other website, but this was the package I got: (https://www.jegs.com/i/Power+Stop/41...iABEgLCf_D_BwE)

So my money goes to: shitty rotors!
