Rotor/pad help......
Ok so I finally splurged and had the DWS's installed on my 06 RL.....now all of a sudden my front rotors are warped! Maybe trying to see what these tires are made of put too much stress on em.....
Anyway what do I buy? I am not going to Acura and getting banged out for $500 for front brakes so forget it. Prefer to get regular rotors as I would like to stay away from cross-drilled/slotted.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I bought two sets of pads and rotors from a Cali shop called R1concepts. One set for the RL and another set for a friend's Toyota SUV. Economical prices and functionally about as good as OEM though the break in ( bed down ?) process for the RL's rotors/pads took quite a few tries over a few weekends before they finally settled down. Would buy from them again. They are on ebay.

I keep hearing Centric which I see make regular rotors for like 30 bucks each, then premium for about 50, then slotted for 70.....Which ones do I buy?
I see Centric makes OE formula pads for about 90, posi quiet, C-Tek by centric, etc, etc, etc. I am effen lost!
How are Akebono?

I had akebonos on my previous car and I would not buy them again... braking was Ok (nothing impressive) but there was a lot of dust on my rims - which I found myself cleaning very often... so, no akebono for me...
EBC has good stuff, you may want to check them out or go stock - I do know stock is more epxensive but there has to be the reason - and I am thinking of sticking with the stock pads and centric rotors myself once it is the time

I wound up going with Centric premium pads and rotors. Between them and the new DWS's it feels like a new car! Scary to think how good it would be if I replaced the rear brakes as well being they havent been replaced in about 30k!
