RL's SHAWD on Display @ LA Auto Show
They need to have this at EVERY show to get SHAWD, the Acura hallmark into market awareness.

I am again impressed by what lies beneath the surface of this car.

you know to me SHAWD is a big deal, and I am glad my car has it..... Yet if I was in Acura Mgmt, I think I would save the money and engineer a Rear wheel drive car. It makes the car much cheaper. When you look at the pics, you got to believe that its got to cost at least 2k (or 3k) for all the lightweight metal, graphite drive shaft, complicated clutches two speed individual rear gear sets. Plus they got to fix all these items in warranty. RWD will help their MPG.

They also show that display at the North American Int. Auto Show (Detroit).
I agree that Acura needs to drag this to EVERY car show. Further, they need to tell people WHY SH-AWD gives a handling advantage on dry roads. That will lower the resistance to those purchasing in dry climates. I have stopped trying to understand why marketers at Acura simply can't get the marketing of this feature right, it's not that hard.

Thank God Acura has a nice looking set-up this year. Nice to see the Acura reps looking good also.
It is the little details like this that Acura needs to understand. These are the types of details that separate Acura more from Honda; from the auto shows straight down to the brochures...
