don't it feel nice to pull up next to a TL, or have a TL pull up next to you, and look over at ya... ?

I do have mad love for the TL, though.. so not hate, please....

 

I park near a '07 TL that's owned by a guy very proud of his car. It's cool, nice car. He looks at my simple silver RL with lust and envy, though. I act like I don't notice that he's bummed the "luster" is off of his...

 

I feel I might get more attention if I debadge it...to make people wonder what they're standing next to...

Most people have never even seen one.

 

If you did that then the would scratch their head for a week trying to figure out what it is... no one knows this car!

 

at least they'd pay attention.

On the other hand...kicking them to 60mph is satisfying enough.

 

It feels great .. and yes, the TL is a great ride, but there are SO many of them out there.
I always pass them, then press the rear sunshade button for that ultra cool stealth effect.

 

I only use the sunshade when someone is smart enough to tail gate me with high beams on...usually just prior to letting them ahead and then turning on 10k high beams :-)

Yeah, I had a TSX come up to me on the highway and look over like OMG.. felt pretty good. Especially since it was a dude AND his lady haha. BTW, a new TSX, too.

I kinda do wanna de-badge so people don't know much except that it's an Acura.. maybe one of these summer days when I'm bored...

I like being the KING in a luxury car companys line-up...

 

Is there penis envy between TL and RL owners these days? When I had my RL, most of the general population thought it was a nicely equipped Accord.

 

This is the main reason I don't want to debadge mine

 

apparently all the compliments on the car go to my brother who takes it to work...I guess I just don't drive often enough to hear.

 

And thats what I love about the RL. BMW 5-series and Audi A6s are nice cars, but I see soooooo many of them all the time. The RL may not have as much of the spotlight as its rivals, but I'm quite ok with that.
