RL Campaign Codes

Good morning, all.

I bought a used '05 RL a few weeks ago, with about 4,600 miles on it. I really like the car a lot, and enjoyed a decent discount off the price of a new RL (I'm sort of cheap).

Yesterday, I took my RL in to have splash guards installed, and they performed three campaign items:

05-005 Campaign
05-006 Campaign
05-007 Campaign

Where can I find details of these items?

Also, I assume that since there are items 05-005 through 05-007, there must have been items 05-001 through 05-004. How can I find details on those campaigns and if those items have been done on my RL?

Thanks!

Where are you located? What color did you get? My Celestial Silver/Taupe RL had around 4600 miles on it when I traded it in.

I'm in the Orlando area. The color is Lakeshore Silver/Taupe.

What did you trade your RL for?

Why do the domain names keep getting ripped out of our posts? This is kind of frustrating.

Milburnd> SInce the domain name for other websites keeps getting ripped out of the post as mentioned by Crotius, here is some of the TSB info:

1. Service Bulletin 05-005, Product Update: Front Door Speakers and Driver’s MPCS Unit
This campaign combines two repairs because both require driver’s door panel removal.
A manufacturing error in the front door speaker gaskets may allow water to enter the
passenger’s compartment. Also, when you unlock the driver’s door by touching the door
handle (keyless access method) or by pressing the UNLOCK button on the remote, the
exterior/interior lights may randomly not come on as they are designed to do.
The repair is to replace the front door speakers and the driver’s MPCS unit. For repair,
warranty, and VIN information, refer to the service bulletin.

2. Service Bulletin 05-006, Product Update: AcuraLink Control Unit Does Not Receive
Real-Time Traffic
After you start the engine inside a structure such as a parking garage, some of the vehicle’s
communication systems may work erratically, especially the AcuraLink real-time traffic monitor. The repair is to replace the AcuraLink control unit, return the old control unit under an exchange program, and register the remanufactured control unit.

3. Service Bulletin 05-007, Product Update: PCM Software Causes Engine Shudder
A programming error in the PCM can cause the engine to shudder during the first stop before it is fully warmed up.

Is there a way to find out which Service Bulletins have been applied?

I would think all service records would be in any Acura service department's computer. Couldn't they do a search by vehicle VIN?

By the way, I agree with Crotius on this. I've even had domain names get ripped out of Private Messages to other members. I don't know what you're trying to protect here, but it's beyond frustrating... it's ridiculous.

Hey, millburnd, who did you buy from? I am also in the Orlando area (Winter Park) and got my RL at Courtesy in Lake Mary.

The updates work for the most part except a lot of people have noticed that the information on the NAV screen while listening to XM radio is now somewhat delayed over the normal XM info updates. As we here in the Orlando area don't get NavTraffic, the update in this area doesn't do much good. Maybe Orlando will get NavTraffic sometime soon.

Anyway, congrats on the new purchase!!

We bought our RL at Fountain Acura on South Orange Blossom Trail, near the Florida Mall. We purchased two MDXs from them in the past, and we like the folks there.
