RL Brakes

My impression is that the RL brakes require a lot of pedal travel and pressure before engaging. My points of comparison are my 91' NSX and 04' Accord whose brakes are firm and responsive. I also drove a TSX loaner car yesterday whose brake pedal seemed much more responsive/firm than my RL. The dealer replaced the ABS modulator on my car yesterday, but it made no difference.

I'm trying to figure out if there's a problem with my car, or if I'm just used to the brakes on other vehicles. Opinions?

I second the above quote. I also have a '99 NSX and a Mercedes I drive and they feel no different. It looks like the dealer just misdiagnosed the ailment, let them try again.

This is very helpful everyone, thanks. Since my experence is the exact opposite of what you're all describing, I'll be back in touch wth the dealer to try and track down what the problem is.

I wonder if the rotor resurfacing the dealer did before I took delivery is somehow related....
