reset service light

have anyone done they own oil change and RESET the service light minder on they own? i know i know if i could afford a $50K car why not an oil change from the dealership right? well, i got a friend who happen to work for honda and time to time they just getting lazy and not change the oil filter. Im sure other dealers and shop out there as well as acura might have done the same thing. so the only way to know for sure is doing it on my own. So any idea?

Just get to the oil life percentage display and hold the reset button down. It will reset to 100%.

Tell your dealership that they did not reset it when they call you back for the courtesy call. Hopefully this will make your service department get a bit more detail oriented.

I think I've trained my dealership quite well and even though I perform most maintenance on my own, I'm not afraid to drop the car for larger service items anymore.

Oh and BTW, the instructions to reset the light are in the manual.
