Replacing the not an ashtray latch, I'm stuck

I removed the felt liner.
I removed the 2 phillipshead screws.
But I can't get the remaining ashtray/Lid out.
It seems to be stuck on the right front??
I've tried alot of different angles of wiggling, no success.
There's a small metal wire on the right corner, but moving this doesn't seem to help?
Here's a picture of it, if any of you guys that have done this already can comment.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

2G RL Garage--click and select "RL service manual". That should get you the answers you need.

From what I remember doing, I just gave it a good tug on the lid and it came out.

Have you pulled up the piece surrounding the shifter?

Question

The big console piece surrounding the shifter also needs to come out?
How do you do that?

Thankless, I think looking at the Acura Music Link (iPod) connection install instructions will help you get the whole situation apart: http://cl.ly/2E3k3P2a0G3R0P2C3i0a

Thanks mitchkramez,
the illustrated page helped!
You do have to carefully but forcefully lift/remove the center console, but not to totally remove it because the wires are still attached.
This then allows you to easily remove the inner Lid&tray.
Then to replace the little latch.

Many thanks all for your help!!!
Peace
