has anyone installed a remote engine starter in their RL. what is your experience and how much did it cost?

 

I would expect it's not cheap. Given the keyless start, you would have to either buy another fob, and then integrate it into the electronis properly so that the car wasn't exposed to theft while it's sitting there running.

 

it wouldnt be easy either, given that the car will not lock when it senses a fob in the car.
How the integration of a remote starter using the transponder from a manual start key, and a FOB smart key for keyless start and its interaction between them is a pretty big gamble to letting a bunch of non-acura techs reconfigure the car.
